Our clients and staff are a whacking great bunch! More than 30 tee’d off at the CFI charity golf day event, which took place at the Essex Golf and Country Club in Earls Colne, Essex on September 21st , raising over £500 for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust – a vital contribution that will help the charity to continue its life-saving work in the area.
The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust provides a free Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for critically ill and injured people in Essex, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. The highly experienced HEMS teams provide life-saving assistance and fast hospital transfer to patients with injuries from traffic accidents, serious falls, heart attacks, stabbings and other emergencies. The service is entirely charity run, relying on donations from businesses and the goodwill of people in the region to remain operational.
At the event, George Baxter tee’d off a pitch-perfect game against stiff competition in the 18 hole Stableford challenge, becoming overall winner for the second year running! Congratulations George on a well deserved win!
CFI would like to extend a warm thank you to everyone that supported CFI’s Charity Golf Day 2015, with special thanks to Yuasa Battery for over-and-above support.
See you all next year!
